Do The Leaders Now Want To Limit Testing For Cancer To Save Money On Health Care Or Social Security?
If the administration is success full and cuts down on testing for breast cancer and other cancers it will save money. It will also result in more deaths because of those ills not being discovered early. A higher death rate will reduce social security cost later. Is that the real Obama motivation? Cost savings that bring death is not what the people want.

The Obama Administration has made it clear that the elderly population in America are superfluous and should not be given tests for Cancer. This will cut back on costs. It is a disgrace that those of us whom have worked, paid our taxes, gone to war for America should now be thrown on the garbage heap so that the proposed Health Care Bill before the Senate will be passed.

Eventually it will save money in both…
With an increase in death by Breast Cancer due to reduction of self exam and x-rays, the system will become bloated with federal funding. with Women not reaching the age of social security, they will have more money in the system that congress can ‘pork-barrel’ to their pet projects.
With the increase in earlier deaths by women, the system will begin spending less money on women’s health due to the reduction of women that survive to their 50’s…
Well folks, here you go, just like we have been warning you about for years… the Liberals want to control all aspects of the US citizens lives from cradle to grave….BUT what they have put on paper is that they want to KEEP the babies out of the cradle through mandatory abortions and get folks into the grave earlier through a system of controlled and denied health care….This is the Socialist way to SAVE Social Security….Tossing out the baby with the bath water, so to speak….

U.S. Preventive Services Task Force
Quote: The USPSTF concluded that “the current evidence is insufficient to assess the additional benefits and harms of screening mammography in women 75 years or older.”
The USPSTF also concluded that “the current evidence is insufficient to assess the additional benefits and harms of clinical breast examination beyond screening mammography in women 40 years of age or older.”
The USPSTF “recommends against clinicians teaching women how to perform breast self-examination.”
The USPSTF “concludes that the current evidence is insufficient to assess additional benefits and harms of either digital mammography or magnetic resonance imaging instead of film mammography as screening modalities for breast cancer.”
The rationales for the new USPSTF recommendations are included in two accompanying publications in the Annals of Internal Medicine.[3][4] The first review concludes that “mammography screening reduces breast cancer mortality for women aged 39 to 69 years,” which appears to be at odds with the recommendation to begin screening at the age of 50 rather than at age 40. The second review concluded, “Biennial screening achieves most of the benefit of annual screening with less harm.”
Comments: It should be noted that the American Cancer Society is apparently not endorsing these new recommendations, and there are many screening centers in the United States that have spoken against changing the current recommendations.

Do note that the American Cancer society is not endorsing these new recommendations!
Funny how many faces of young women one sees free of cancer to live another day after getting a regular mammaogram.
Many women and men have self diagnosed cancer/tumors to go on and live and have children and continue to be grandmothers because they did self breat examinations.
Is this what your New health care reform will look like?
We lack so much in preventive medicine already and now this?
Confusing.
